7 Flower Street tells the compelling story of Luise de Groot, a restorer of paintings. Luise is of the opinion that trust is the basis of her marriage, but she learns otherwise when her husband Max suddenly dies in a car accident, with a stranger sitting beside him. Luise looks into the matter and finds out that Max had been meeting Tosca Farini several times during the past few years. Why hadn't he ever mentioned her? Why hadn't he never informed her about their meetings? Luise suspects him of having had a love affair and she wants to procure proof. Her quest leads her from Germany to South Africa. In Cape Town she is finally successful in unravelling the threads of a fateful imbroglio.
